Doctor of Philosophy (Early Childhood Education) - PT17R

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Early Childhood Education at Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) is a research-intensive program aimed at producing scholars and experts who can contribute significantly to the advancement of early childhood education theory, policy, and practice. The program is open to applicants with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related fields (CGPA 2.75 and above), as well as those with relevant academic qualifications, diplomas, or a minimum of five years’ teaching experience in the field. International candidates must demonstrate English proficiency through TOEFL (550), IELTS (6.0), or an equivalent qualification.

This doctoral program emphasizes independent, original research that addresses critical issues in early childhood education at local, national, and global levels. Candidates will explore advanced topics such as curriculum innovation, child development theories, educational leadership, inclusive education, and assessment in early learning contexts.
