HICoE

The Higher Institution Centers of Excellence (HICoE) program is a program of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) implemented by the Department of Higher Education (MOHE) to drive research excellence in HEIs in the field of nic research. Through this program, JPT assign a HICoE rating to a high-performing Center of Excellence (CoE) in the field of nic research.

The accredited HICoE has had an impact on the production of new research talent, the publication of high-impact journals as well as the production of innovations that can benefit academia, industry, government, the community and the environment. Periodic performance monitoring will be implemented to ensure implementation in live with the objectives of the HICoE program as well as a basis for the subsequent disbursement of HICoE research funds.
